'What separates the grown-up authors from the boys is the
quality of the writing and David Eddings is one of the best' WESTERN MAIL
Welcome to
Jack's David & Leigh Eddings web site, dedicated to two of the world's greatest
fantasy authors; David Eddings and his wife Leigh.
Yeah! We've got ourselves a real .com domain! In the future this site will be known as the Eddings Chronicles. That name is part of the update I have been talking about for six months. The update will be done, sooner or later.
The new forums are finally up and running. The new forum system works much better than the old one - it's faster, easier to use, there are several different forums now and no banners! Keep posting!
You don't have to register in order to post messages. I'm the moderator of all the forums and my nick is Kail.

Wow!
It's finally here. Eddings' latest book, THE REDEMPTION OF ALTHALUS, is a standalone
fantasy volume with new characters and an entirely new plot and story. HarperCollins
has finally unveiled the information on the book which can be found in Harper
Collins' book catalog.
Now I've got my own copy and I keep reading.
Be sure to expect a review of some kind pretty soon now. As soon as I'm able I
will post the review. Check back and watch out for it! Until then
get a good look at the beautiful cover of the book or
read some more about it.
The release date for the HaperCollins edition
was set to the 3rd of July in the UK and the price is £17.99. The US Del
Rey edition will be published in November of this year.
The Rivan Codex
'The
Rivan Codex'
is a "reference guide" for the Eddings fan; the Belgariad/ Malloreon
world is presented in several holy texts and historical documents; there are also
16 additional maps. Not to mention about fifty new illustrations by the British
fantasy artist Geoff Taylor.
'The Rivan Codex' isn't a new book in the Belgariad/ Malloreon series, it just
sums it all up, similar to Tolkien's Silmarillion.
Or, as printed on the cover: "Eminently collectable, absolutely essential, The Rivan Codex
is the book no Eddings reader will want to miss"
Do you know
of ANY possible way to contact David or Leigh Eddings?
(This
was quoted from the alt.fan.eddings FAQ).
If you want to contact him, you need to write a genuine, pen-and-paper letter,
and send it care of his publisher, Del Rey Books. Address it as follows:
David
Eddings
c/o Del Rey Books
201 E. 50th St.
New York, NY 10022
U.S.A.
I recommend using
the two-envelope method: Write your letter, seal it into a stamped envelope with
"David Eddings" written on the front, BUT NO ADDRESS.
Then insert that into another envelope and mail it off to Del Rey Books. They'll
forward it. If you want a reply, you'll be a lot more likely to get one if you
include a self-
addressed, stamped envelope.
Got them all?
Are your series complete? To be
sure visit the books page with full
listing of all Eddings' fantasy books with covers and descriptions.
